WINNER: Best Pediatric Physical Therapist in the 2023 Best in Birth Awards

Austin, TX

Dr. Kristi Hammerle is a pediatric physical therapist and certified breastfeeding specialist who provides service to the Austin, Texas community, and online education accessible to all. She started Year One Wellness in 2022 with the goal of bringing excellent care to all families seeking to learn more about their baby’s development. Her favorite things to treat as a physical therapist are infant breastfeeding difficulty, torticollis, plagiocephaly, tongue tie, and baby milestones. 

This past year, she presented on the Physical Therapist’s Role in Breastfeeding to the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Texas Woman’s University and at the 2023 Texas Physical Therapy Association conference. She also started the popular Blooming Baby Play Classes to spark learning, community, and guided play in Austin, Texas. She is excited to grow Year One Wellness to serve more families, and has big plans for 2024!
